"I am not afraid of storms
for I am learning
how to sail my ship."
-Louisa May Alcott

On May 17th I graduated from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon with a double BA in Theatre (Acting) and English and a minor in Psychology. My undergraduate work at Willamette provided me with a broad range of opportunities that have both expanded and honed my personal, academic, and artistic skills and values.

One of the most significant experiences of this kind was my term in London studying at the British American Drama Academy's Shakespeare Program. This intensive course of study in Acting, Driecting, Literature, and Dramatic Criticism; Master Classes taught by esteemed actors and scholars like Fiona Shaw, Henry Goodman, and Stanley Wells; and taking constant advantage of London's expansive theatre scene, were nothing short of miraculous in contributing to my growth as a theatre artist.

Throughout my studies in acting I have been assembling a toolboox incorporating many different teachings, systems, techniques, and methods including Meisner, Michael Chekov, Laban, Gister, Uta Hagen, and Linklater as well as viewpoints, devising, Shakespeare, improv,  choral work, and stage combat. See my résumé page for details and teachers or download below.
